Central Florida
Licensed insurance agent and massage therapist. Builder, mechanic, caregiver, and student of whatever the work in front of me requires.
I have spent most of my working life close to people and close to problems that have to be solved with both hands. That includes running a massage practice, directing a spa, turning wrenches at Pep Boys, remodeling houses with a small team, serving as a full-time caregiver under Florida’s NICA program, and completing a cybersecurity professional boot camp at the University of Central Florida.
Most recently I returned to life, health, and annuity work as an independent agent affiliated with Brokers Alliance. The through-line is the same: listen carefully, do the work cleanly, keep learning.

Whole-house renovation with a small team. Pasco County treated the work as changing the house’s effective age.
A tighter scope than Stell Drive: paint, floors, and countertops, then a real addition. We enclosed the back porch on a raised wood platform foundation, and built a family room and bathroom — the rooms with the sliding barn doors.
One trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, after a hurricane, with Pastor José Ortega: treating children for lice, helping rebuild homes damaged in the storm, and helping construct a school outside of town. Two trips to Chile with Pastor Rick Wilkes on a preaching tour from Santiago to Chiloé. Time in China as a cultural-exchange visit, helping people who wanted to practice their English.
Blues, jazz, rock, and Spanish guitar and vocals; tenor in an Orthodox church choir. Keyboard and electronics repair, including church instruments. Custom portable speaker building. As a teenager I worked live sound, lighting, and staging for The Music Store in Boca Raton, on outdoor shows from Boca through Fort Lauderdale — including multi-act Motown and R&B bills that were sometimes advertised as jazz festivals.
